OVERVIEW

Items within Laura C Cole & Co. and BowPosh (a subsidiary) are designed, and handmade by Laura C Cole and her team. Please allow up to 2 weeks for processing for custom pieces such as prom and weddings or other special occasions (not including shipping). This allows time for specialty supplies to arrive if needed but is not always necessary. If a piece is needed in a short time frame, please contact us to see if we can accommodate your request. All custom pieces state custom within the listing on the website. In stock- ready to ship items will process within 3-5 days.

 

SHIPPING

All items are shipped via USPS first class, USPS priority mail, UPS Ground or USPS international. Please contact us for overnight options. Shipping prices will reflect shipping & handling for each carriers current pricing plan. Please be aware that some carriers cannot guarantee overnight shipping due to rural or other area specifications such as PO Boxes. If an item is returned for such reasons, reshipping is available and will be the customers responsibility. Please check details before finalizing your selections.

Laura C Cole & Co. will not be held responsible for shipments that are delivered late due to carrier delays, weather or other scenarios that are out of our hands. Tracking numbers are included with each package that leaves our studio and will be forwarded once the package is dropped off with the carrier.

NOTE: First class tracking numbers are not guaranteed and is not an actual tracking service. Per the USPS, this is a courtesy and sometimes may not be updated consistently or at all.

Once a package has been marked as "delivered" by the carrier, Laura C Cole & Co. is no longer responsible for lost or stolen property. Customers must contact their local carrier and provide them with the tracking number, file a claim and/or file a police report for stolen/lost property. If a package is lost in transit and tracking information is not available or shows a mis-delivery, verified by the carrier, we will work with our customers by providing a replacement item. Limited insurance is included for most carriers but if additional insurance is requested, we will adjust your shipping costs for you to reflect these changes.

 

INTERNATIONAL and PRICING

Laura C Cole & Co. ships worldwide so please allow up to 6 weeks for international deliveries. Shipping times do not reflect the added processing times mentioned above. We will not be held accountable for any additional custom fees or taxes into the country where the package is being delivered. These are strictly up to each individual country and we do not control these decisions. Please expect possible delays with shipping times due to customs. Late deliveries due to custom holds are not the responsibility of Laura C Cole & Co. so please keep this in mind with your ordering time frames. If you have any questions about customs, please contact your local department.

TAXES

Each state has its own rate and will be applied accordingly.

 

RETURNS

Laura C Cole & Co. and its subsidiaries are confident in the quality presented in each item shipped. Returns and/or exchanges are accepted less shipping as long as we are contacted within 3 days of you receiving your item if for any reason you are not satisfied (time starts at the time of verified delivery).

Custom orders must be “final sale” due to the nature of each individualized piece. Communication is open during custom production to ensure satisfaction before finalizing. By ordering a custom piece, you are agreeing to these terms. If you have any questions, please contact us prior to ordering.

Additionally, any item in contact with bodily fluids or hair, such as earrings and headbands are final sale to protect our customers. By submitting your order, you are agreeing to these terms.

 

DAMAGE

Items are packaged securely (even with envelope usage), but if a package is damaged due to carrier/shipping neglect, please contact us immediately (within 3 days of receiving) and provide us with photos of the damage so that we can process the necessary paperwork. We will then provide you with a refund less shipping or exchange for the same item or item of equal value upon the return of the damaged item.

 

CUSTOM ORDERS

Due to the individuality of custom orders, these will be “final sale” and are not eligible for returns or exchanges. Please stay in open communication with your designer during the making of your custom piece to ensure satisfaction before shipping as mentioned above.

Custom orders include significant changes to “in stock- ready to ship" items and the creation of individualized pieces. Custom requests can take up to 6 weeks for processing with added shipping time due to the customization, design time, supplies, and seasoned events. Please submit your requests well in advance to ensure your piece is available for you before your event. We will do our very best to meet your time frame requests.

Local orders are available for pickup.

*Laura C Cole & Co. reserves the right to add these custom orders to our inventory as examples. We own the rights to our designs, handmade work, and our photos.

*Final custom order products may not be reproduced by anyone privately or any other company, for personal use or for sale, regardless if the customer provided a vision for the final piece. The designs are created & finalized by Laura C Cole & Co. and their subsidiaries which are protected by copyright laws.

*Pieces and or images pre-designed and presented to LCC & Co. by the customer to be created will remain property of the customer and LCC & Co. must obtain written permission to carry/ sell that design on any website used by the company, including social media. *Exclusive rates may apply. Any design brought to LCC & Co. will not be recreated as we respect fellow artists. It can; however, be used as inspiration, but understand going in, that the final product will be significantly different as we do have our own aesthetic.
